USE CASES
We work with farmers and food companies in 7 use cases across Europe to ensure that we develop results to meet their specific needs. Each use case represents a different context, with different climate, different soils, and different cultivations.
- Prevention & remediation of soil compaction and acidity
- Variable-Rate Liming to Optimize Crop Yields and Improve Resource Efficiency in Germany
- Milk supply chain sustainability programme with Regenerative Agriculture practices
- Improved soil management & profitability for intensive potato farming
- Improving soil management to reverse long-term trends of declining fertility
- Smart soil sample collection and field analysis in Switzerland
- Higher resource efficiency and yield resilience to safeguard food security
OUR PARTNERS
The SQAT consortium includes seven innovative
agritech companies and four leading research institutes:
Non-profit organization dedicated to promoting eco-innovations in the Balkan region. They connect stakeholders to advance research and innovation projects focused on green and sustainable sectors.
Geospatial consultancy offering strategic innovation support for better use of geospatial data. Through its BioScope service, AeroVision provides soil, vegetation, and weather-related information to farmers, advisors, and food processors. BioScope won the Galileo Masters NL award in 2020
A leader in bioeconomy research. ATB explores the intersection of biological and technical systems to develop a bio-based circular economy across agricultural, food, industrial, and energy sectors.
Multi-disciplinary applied science institute. Its ENoLL-certified Agrifood Technology lab co-creates precision farming innovations with a multi-stakeholder approach. The Plant Science Unit specializes in soil research, including SOC monitoring and soil compaction projects.
