SQAT Presented at the “Agroinnovation” Panel in Belgrade

SQAT project partner Miodrag Miodragović, co-founder of Terra Controlling TMD, participated in the panel discussion held on 22 May 2026 during the International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements at the Belgrade Fair.

The panel was organised by Naučno-tehnološki park Novi Sad / Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia. It brought together representatives from science, agritech, entrepreneurship and farming practice to discuss the role of data, technology and innovation in shaping the future of agriculture.

The discussion focused on several important questions: how innovation is changing agriculture, why data is becoming essential for better soil and crop management, what challenges farmers face when adopting new technologies, and how knowledge transfer can bring advanced solutions closer to the field.

During the discussion, Miodrag highlighted Terra Controlling’s work in soil analysis, geospatial data and satellite-based insights. He also spoke about the importance of collaboration with European companies and research institutes through EU Horizon projects, including SQAT.

Through SQAT, this cooperation is turned into practical innovation by combining satellite data, soil sensors, robotics and smart farming applications to make soil data more precise, accessible and useful for farmers.

Participation in events such as the International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements is an important opportunity to present SQAT’s work to wider audiences and to show how international collaboration can support better decisions for soil health, productivity and long-term sustainability.
