New synergy with the GreenFit project

The SQAT project is pleased to announce a new synergy with the GreenFit project – Green Resilience through Economic Empowerment, Environmental Knowledge, and Future-Proof Digital Infrastructure.

GreenFit is an EU Horizon project running from 2025 to 2028, bringing together researchers, agri-tech innovators, farmers and field actors to advance climate-smart farming practices across Europe. The project focuses on strengthening agricultural resilience by deploying advanced technologies, including AI-powered decision-support tools, IoT sensors, XR-based training, real-time tools such as an Agri Chatbot, and drone-in-a-box systems.

SQAT is developing an integrated smart farming solution that combines Earth Observation, in-situ soil sensors and autonomous robotics to generate high-resolution soil intelligence and support more precise, efficient and sustainable field-level decisions.

The synergy between SQAT and GreenFit creates opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration around shared topics such as digital agriculture, smart farming technologies, climate resilience, farmer engagement, regional pilot activities and the practical uptake of innovative solutions.

GreenFit brings together 20 partners from 10 EU countries and supports activities across eight pilot regions, including Greece, Italy, Spain, Romania, Latvia, Serbia, Malta and Global pilot activities. Through participatory and co-creation methods, the project works to identify regional barriers, enhance technology and connectivity, build value-chain partnerships and empower local communities to scale and adopt innovative practices.

By connecting with GreenFit, SQAT continues to strengthen its network of related European initiatives and support the broader transition toward more sustainable, data-driven and resilient agriculture.
