SQAT consortium meets in Milan to discuss next project steps and exploitation pathways

On 12 May 2026, we gathered in Milan, Italy, for an in-person meeting hosted by project partner Deloitte.

The meeting focused on the current status of the SQAT project and the next steps towards operationalisation and future market uptake.

Throughout the day, partners discussed the maturity and integration status of the project’s technologies, including robotics, soil sensing systems, satellite-based data workflows and Smart Farming Applications.

A key part of the agenda was dedicated to the transition “from results to market”, including discussions on:

  • service delivery pathways,
  • partnership opportunities,
  • exploitation potential of Key Exploitable Results (KERs),
  • and future operational and quality assurance approaches.

The consortium also reviewed progress across the project’s use cases and discussed future activities linked to communication, stakeholder engagement and business planning.

The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to align technical development with future practical deployment and commercialisation activities.
