Healthy soil is the foundation of farming – and supporting farmers requires both practical experience and smart innovation.
We are happy to announce that SQAT is joining forces with the Horizon Europe project LivingSoiLL – Healthy Soil to Permanent Crops Living Labs.
Across Europe, farmers are facing challenges such as soil compaction, declining organic matter, erosion, and increasing pressure to use inputs more efficiently.
SQAT contributes by developing robotic soil sampling systems, smart mapping tools, and precision applications that help farmers understand their soil variability and apply exactly what is needed – no more, no less.
At the same time, LivingSoiLL is establishing Living Labs in several European countries, bringing together farmers, researchers, and local stakeholders to co-create and test practical solutions for permanent crops.
By connecting advanced soil intelligence technologies with farmer-driven Living Lab communities, both projects aim to strengthen knowledge exchange and support the transition towards healthier, more resilient agricultural systems.
This collaboration reflects a shared understanding:
Innovation works best when it supports real farmers, in real fields, solving real soil problems.
We look forward to developing this partnership and sharing future updates.
